This Privacy Policy explains how ScatPad (“the app”) handles your information. ScatPad is designed to work entirely on your device.
ScatPad does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, and no advertising.
Recordings you make are saved only to your device, in your chosen folder within your device’s Music storage. They are never uploaded to us or to any third party. You have full control to play, rename, share, or delete your recordings at any time. If you choose to share a recording using your device’s share options, that action is handled by the app you share to, not by ScatPad.
ScatPad requires microphone permission solely to record audio when you tap record. Audio is captured only while you are actively recording and is saved directly to your device. The microphone is never accessed in the background or without your action.
ScatPad does not connect to the internet and does not transmit any data off your device.
ScatPad does not collect any data from anyone, including children. The app is safe to use without sharing any personal information.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
